👋🏻 I’m Simon Tomes. I have a love for building communities that matter.

I’m a software tester with the privilege of 20 years as a testing professional. I’m super grateful for that time.

I’ve led teams of testers, QA engineers, and developers and coached and mentored all sorts of folks in the process. In the mix of all that I’ve been an agile coach, scrum master, delivery manager and independent consultant/trainer.

I co-created TestBuddy and Qeek. Two SaaS tools for the software testing community.

I currently work at Ministry of Testing as a CommunityBoss (which is another name for a Community Engineer, Builder and Advocate).

I’m obsessed with music discovery and am in the process of building a community for album lovers.
